The Treasure Valley is a great place to live and offers many outdoor activities. With the mountains only a short drive away, it has great access to hiking, skiing, biking, boating, camping, fishing, and hunting. The Greenbelt path system brings the beauty of nature right through downtown Boise. The area offers amenities like restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and healthcare. There are all kinds of cultural events and attractions such as The Morrison Center, the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, the Idaho Botanical Garden, the Boise Art Museum, The Discovery Center of Idaho, Zoo Boise, and the Idaho State Capitol. Local sporting teams like the Boise State Broncos and the Idaho Steelheads are fun to watch. Some of the top employers include Albertsons, Micron, JR Simplot, Hewlett-Packard, Boise Cascade, and Blue Cross of Idaho. The whole valley is very drivable, and you can usually get wherever you need to be in 20-30 minutes. The quality of life keeps people here and attracts people from all over the country.
